I am so glad that I found Kids Care Spot for my daughter! I was desperate to fine a daycare for my 2yo after I had moved to Carlsbad from Texas. Ligia was so nice, and her house so welcoming that I knew my daughter would love it too. She has been there for 3 years now. I'm so sad we have to leave but I know that Ligia went above and beyond to make sure she would be ready for kindergarten. If you want to find a place that will love and adore your child just as much as you, then you found the right place.

My granddaughter just "graduated" from preschool with Ligia this fall and it was an emotional experience. She loved her time with Ligia, Lupe, and Suri and has asked to be able to visit them now that she is in kindergarten. I have a sweet photo from graduation day of Ligia being hugged by two of the girls and the tears of pride and sadness that were shed by her. Ligia truly cares for the children, their well-being, and their social and academic development. Daily art projects teach them manual dexterity, counting, and their letters. Suri works with the kids individually to prepare them for kindergarten and ensured that they could count to 30, could write the alphabet, and learned to associate a letter with a sound. Ligia's home and yard allow the children space and toys for both energetic and social play. There were days when I went to pick up the kid, and she didn't want to leave. If you want to have your child to spend their days in a family environment, but with well-trained and caring professionals, then Kids Care is the place for you.

Being a first time mom, I was so nervous about finding the perfect daycare for my son. At only 3 months old, how could I find a place that would provide the attention and care that he needs?
I'm so happy I found Ligia and her staff at Kids Care Spot. It is located on a quiet street with a long driveway so the yard is set back from the road. Inside is clean and she uses so much of her house for the daycare so the kids aren't in one room all day long. The kids enjoy plenty of activities, games, arts/crafts, and outside play.
The thing I liked best was that the ratio of staff to infants was 1:2 (as opposed to daycare centers where most are 1:4). This allowed more personalized care, closer monitoring, and more cuddles/hugs throughout the day! The staff goes by your child's schedule for naps/feeding and gives you a report at the end of the day. I was able to go to work guilt-free and knew he was in excellent hands. I would highly recommend kids care spot to anyone!
